NK AH36, DH36, EH36 and FH36 steels are high strength shipbuilding steels, mainly used in the construction of hulls and superstructures of large ships. These grades have a minimum yield strength of 355 MPa(000 psi) and a minimum tensile strength of 490-620 MPa(000-90,000 psi).
Grades AH36, DH36, EH36 and FH36 are all classified as ABS (American Classification Society) approved steel and are also approved by other classification societies such as DNV GL, LR (Lloyd's Register), BV (Bureau Veritas) and RINA (Italian Naval Register).
NK AH36, DH36, EH36 and FH36 steels have good toughness and high strength, making them ideal for use in harsh Marine environments. These grades are also corrosion resistant and can withstand extreme temperatures and pressures. They are commonly used in the construction of large shipping vessels such as oil tankers, bulk carriers, container ships and cruise liners.
